Dear friends and family,
This coming year I will be going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic from March 21-28 with Mount Pleasant Christian Church located in Greenwood, IN. I will be going on the trip with my friends Millie Foley, Anna Foley, and Linley Cunningham who went with me on the trip last year. The trip will start on March 21st, as I will be boarding a plane to take a 10 - hour flight to the Dominican. When we arrive we will be going to a small community village filled with young children. In the village, we will be holding a sports camp for the children in the community. During the sports camp, we will have a bible lesson time with the children as a group. In the evenings we will take turns leading a bible lesson for the group of teens I am traveling with. Then on March 28th, I will be flying back to the states. Throughout the trip, I am hoping to impact a child's life by showing them Jesus’ love and to make memories that will last me a lifetime.
Last year I was able to experience just how life-changing the trip can be and really learned a lot about myself. The trip was so amazing that I want to go again. I feel like God has really called me to go on this trip. I think he knows that I can make an impact on someone else's life and an impact on my own life. He has a plan for each and everyone one of us and I think he has this trip planned for me.
