Women's Ministry Retreat

Our Women's Ministry team is partnering with  Diaconía to host a Women's Retreat in the Fall of 2024. NOTE: This team is by invitation thru our Women's Ministry Director, Christy Brink.

Diaconia is an organization that comes alongside vulnerable communities to strive towards holistic development based on Biblical values and Christian principles. Thru microfinancing and financial education, they provide women with a hand-up instead of a hand-out. Diaconia focuses on building the competence and confidence needed for families to break through generational poverty. Diaconía provides the opportunity for them to become their own agents of change. In other words: they serve to empower. Their economic empowerment model uses business oriented micro-loans as the primary development tool. Other programs include vocational and financial literacy training, church-facilitated savings groups, wellness partnerships, and chaplaincy.

Women's Ministry Director, Christy Brink, is leading this team.
